Ituran, a global leader in GPS tracking services for BHPH, fleet and consumers, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join our team of talented professionals. This is a newly created position for the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. You will start from scratch as an army of one building your territory followed by recruiting and hiring a direct sales team. This is an opportunity to have a huge impact growing the company and potentially expanding your territory outside Dallas to include Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. Key Accountabilities:
The Regional Sales Manager will be held accountable for building a territory and sales team in the Southeast region through sales to Franchise dealers (our DriveIt product) and Independent/BHPH dealers and subprime finance companies (our Controlit product).
- Build, train, coach and manage a sales team
- Direct sales to automotive dealers (new and pre-owned) as well as opening new channels for sales and distribution through warranty companies, independent agents and aftermarket product distributors
- Work with our marketing team and distributors to ensure effective promotions including co-op advertising and in-store displays
- Track and manage sales activity through our CRM system and provide reports as required
- Prospect, identify and qualify new potential customers, including cold calling and development of leads through referral channels
- Manage the pipeline of opportunities from current and prospective customers
- Explore and develop new markets such as educational institutions, insurance agencies, car rental companies, etc.
- Align channel requirements with Ituran packaging group to deliver a consistent message, quality and timely production of all product packaging
- Establish relationships and agreements with dealer groups, dealers, service groups, finance companies, lenders, etc.

Skills, Experience and Knowledge required:
Musts:
- Minimum 7 years sales experience including B2B (dealers or finance companies), Retail automotive (extended warranties, gap insurance, maintenance, tire & wheel, etc), F&I operations, or Subprime automotive finance
- Proven sales track record and performance
- At least 2-3 years demonstrated experience and success building and managing a sales team
- Strong consultative and value selling skills
- Existing relationships with new car dealer franchises at the senior management and ownership level
- Deep rolodex of connections to open doors to potential strategic partners and customers
- Ability to attend tradeshows, travel within territory and have flexible hours
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and a CRM system
- Reside in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and be able to work remotely out of your home
A plus:
- Experience with LoJack, OnStar, GPS enabled devices and similar consumer product sales
- Transportation, TLC or AVL/GPS/Telematics/Fleet management experience
- Experience using the web for remote presentations
- Bachelors degree
