Master Carpenter/Digital Templator – West Palm Beach, FL

Are you an artisan known for your keen eye for detail and accuracy?  If so, we want to hear from you!  Haifa Limestone, a leading importer, fabricator, installer and restoration specialist for all indoor and outdoor stone applications, is seeking a talented Master Carpenter.  You will be primarily responsible for measuring and producing digital templates for high end cabinets, stair cases, fireplaces, countertops, and radial pool coping for the most luxurious homes.  Our client base is demanding and average installations are NOT acceptable so you must be able to meet a very high level of customer installation satisfaction.

Snapshot of Key Accountabilities:

  • Perform accurate field measurements for counters, fireplace hearths and many other surfaces using digital measuring tools and techniques
  • Ensure a detailed quality control process is followed and quality assurance on all installation jobs
  • Supervise the installation of intricate jobs when required
  • Deliver superior customer service by interacting with homeowners, contractors, and site supervisors on an ongoing basis
  • Answer customer questions regarding the installation process
  • Work closely with our CAD Drafter to ensure shop drawings are accurate for production

Skills/Experience/Knowledge required:

Must haves:

  • 10 years + experience in finish carpentry  on high end residential buildings
  • Superb measuring skills including advanced proficiency in confirming existing walls are plumb and square, overhang requirements, splash dimensions and sink choice with customers
  • Proven experience with pre-installation templates in the field (we will train you in digital templating)

 

Preferred:

  • Experience with digital template technology
  • High end stone and tile experience including setting, fabrication and restoration methods
  • Conversant in Spanish
