This position is based in Golden, CO.

What You’ll Do:

Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing,  you will be responsible for working as part of the Manufacturing team during all phases of the product lifecycle from design through shipping.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Develop and maintain a Quality and Document Control System with the end goal to achieve ISO 9001 certification.
  • Participate in design reviews, testing, configuration control, problem reporting and resolution.
  • Audit, monitor, evaluate and report on quality metrics.
  • Interface with design, manufacturing and engineering.
  • Chair the Material Review Board (MRB) with knowledge of dispositions, MRB authority and compliance with customer flowed requirements.
  • Reviewing project documentation to ensure requirements compliance, adherence to good manufacturing standards, risk mitigation and completeness.
  • Ensure the producibility of designs and products.
  • Compile and evaluate design data to determine adequacy and completeness of the product or software and the engineering effectiveness of the results compared to requirements and specifications.
  • Inspection of incoming raw materials and in process inspection of assemblies
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

 What You’ll Need:

  • BS degree in an Electro-Mechanical related technical field
  • 5+ years related experience in a quality role
  • Ability to read and understand basic electronic and mechanical schematics.
  • A demonstrated ability to understand ISO 9001 standard and the requirements contained therein that guide the design, build, and test of hardware.
  • A demonstrated ability to understand Quality Engineering (QE) principles, tools, methods, and standards.
  • Troubleshooting experience with automation and PLC’s a plus.
  • Electrical knowledge including wiring, AC Power/power distribution, AC Motors and control panels a plus.
  • Basic AutoCad experience a plus.
  • Strong MS Office experience.
  • Ability to lift and handle up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to work 7am – 3:30pm to support the manufacturing team

  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to meet production schedules and quality standards while committing to a safe work environment.

Compensation:

$70,000 – 80,000
