About the position:

This key role will support the CEO by ensuring that leadership is accountable and aligned with company initiatives, and on track with deadlines, milestones and scorecards as we implement the Rockefeller Habits.  You will also provide business planning, analytics and reports to monitor the performance of our business goals, supporting senior management with data-driven and financial insights that drive attainment of our business plan and operational excellence as well as performing analysis impacting decisions about resource allocation, profitability, accountability and efficiency.  Organizing, tracking, scheduling and monitoring work moving through our CEO’s office is a major area of focus.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Enhance CEO productivity by efficiently organizing and scheduling all work items requiring executive review.
  • Use Microsoft Excel to draft materials, reports, information to help structure meaningful analysis and decisions by senior management while improving the quality of reporting.
  • Work with current and business forecasts to create and deliver complete, insightful business planning models
  • Use Salesforce to automate routine reporting so that business performance results and metrics are consistently understood and widely shared throughout the company
  • Provide informational support and recommendations to drive costs out and efficiencies in the organization.
  • Improve operational procedures and workflow to meet assigned business process improvement metrics.
  • Assist with creating the annual plan and budget in collaboration with the management team.   Ensure business metrics align and interlock across all departments and that they support long-term company growth targets.
  • Follow operating procedures to prepare monthly and quarterly assessments and forecasts of the organization’s performance against metrics, budget, financial and operational goals.
  • Identify improvements to organizational effectiveness, risk management and operational excellence across support team functions (IT, HR, Finance and Administration) and support implementation as assigned.
  • Work with the management team to develop organizational strategies, structure, policies and practices.
  • Engage with outside resources (CPA, legal, insurance, alliances, and consultants) to support management’s objectives.
  • Track major company objectives to help ensure timely, high-quality, on-budget completion.

Skills/Experience/Knowledge Required:

  • Proven experience with business analytics, budget development and executive support with a medium to large company
  • Ability to deliver thoughtful and accurate data-driven insights to promote operational excellence
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills and ability to carry out multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent computer skills and highly proficient in Excel, Word, Access, Power Point, Outlook and a CRM (SalesForce preferred)
  • Bachelors degree in business management, finance or operations; MBA preferred
