We are a 50 year old Commercial AV distributor with a niche in the Broadcast & AV industry seeking an AV Technician to join our team.  This position will enable you to utilize your AV products, technology and installation expertise to help customers identify what they need. This position is responsible for supporting the sales and sales support teams as well as our customers across all of our product lines.  If you are tired being out in the field, this is the perfect opportunity to come into the office!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive inbound calls and emails from customers requesting technical assistance
  • Process orders and quotes
  • Solve customers’ needs through product information and recommendations
  • Research and identify product solutions from  customer description and/or application requests

  • Handles details quickly, accurately and efficiently with careful attention to quality
  • Fast learner with a strong sense of audio and video applications
  • AV Technology enthusiast

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years designing, installing, or building commercial AV solutions
  • Familiar with product lines such as C2G, Chief, Furman, Gefen, RDL, Sennheiser, Belden
  • Familiar with various industry magazines such as Commercial Integrator, Systems Contractor News, Digital Signage Magazine, Rental & Staging, Healthcare AV, etc.
  • Basic to intermediate Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Excellent English written and verbal skills
